Hope After Betrayal was born from one woman’s courageous journey through the devastation of sexual betrayal—and God’s redemptive power to heal what feels impossible to repair.
In the early 2000s, when resources for betrayed partners were almost nonexistent, our founder Meg Wilson began searching for answers, guidance, and hope as she navigated her own husband’s struggle with sexual addiction. Out of that deeply personal healing journey came the book Hope After Betrayal, followed by a companion workbook that has since helped countless women find language for their pain, a path toward restoration, and Christ-centered hope and healing.
As more hurting women reached out, Meg realized there was a greater mission unfolding—one that extended far beyond her own story. In 2014, Hope After Betrayal Ministries was formally established as a nonprofit dedicated to serving women whose worlds have been shattered by infidelity, betrayal trauma, and sexual brokenness in their marriages.
Since then, the ministry has continued to grow, flourish, and deepen its impact. Women come to us with broken hearts and tattered souls, often unsure how to breathe again, let alone rebuild. Here, they discover a safe place to land, biblical support, and the tools they need to move forward with clarity, strength, and renewed hope.
Today, Meg continues to support the ministry she birthed as our Board President, while Kristy Rodriguez, our Executive Director, carries the mission forward with fresh passion, trauma-informed insight, and Spirit-led vision. Together with our dedicated board, mentors, leaders, and partners, we remain committed to ensuring that every woman who comes to us hears this truth:
You are not alone.
Your story does not end in betrayal.
And, God-given hope is still possible.
At Hope After Betrayal, this is more than a mission.
It is our calling, our heartbeat, and our privilege to make sure that every woman who reaches out for hope finds it.
